The New Haven Gaelic Football & Hurling Club (NHGF&HC) had its beginnings in 1949 with a group of Irishmen who immigrated to this area after WWII. The club eventually purchased its present East Haven location in 1967. In 1984, the Irish American Community Center (IACC) was established to promote Irish culture through the education of its members in Irish history, literature, language, music and other traditions. |
