New Haven Youth Gaelic Football

Sunday January 30th IACC Irish Sports Program Registration 1.30pm and

Annual General Meeting (AGM) 3pm Kids Gaelic Football & Hurling ages 5 – 16 -- Put January 30th on your calendar for our 2011 AGM and first Registration Day for the new season.  Are you a member and have kids that aren't playing the Games of the Gaels?  Shame on you!  Come along and register your players, and stay for the AGM to hear about detailed plans for the coming year and our strategy for the season. We have great trainers and coaches, and your kids will love the action-packed and fast-paced national sports of Ireland.   We also have clinics for under sixes to give them a grounding in the sport for future growth and active competition.  We are not like other sports programs and you will enjoy being part of a fun and engaged community of player families. We plan another great year with New York Minor Board Competition, Continental Youth Championship in Boston in August, and hurling and camogie tournament opportunities.  Each year a number of our players go to Ireland to compete with Feile, and New Haven has made a proud name for ourselves that resonates nationwide and to Croke Park itself.  Be a part of the action, excitement and fun.  Youngsters eight years of age or younger before January 1st, 2012 are free of charge.  Otherwise registration is just $50 per family for any number of players, and if we don't already have them on file bring a birth certificate and two photographs. Indoor practice will start in February.  Questions? Contact Sue Kiely, Registrar at suejam48@charter.netPractice will be starting indoor ay Sports Center on Rte 80 Thursday's and Sunday's in February.   Dates to be announced at AGM, email and the next Newsletter.
