Cul Camp Thank You:

Our Cul Camp this year was an incredible success, and we would like to thank all of those who gave of their time and talent to make it so!!  Thanks to New York for sending up the two coaches from Ireland – Oisin Brennan and Nicola Sheanon.  I think we got the luck of the draw with them, and our kids got 20 hours of Gaelic Football in one week, and all came away better players for it.  Thanks to the incredible counselors – Saoirse Burke, Ariane Maxwell, Ronan Johnston, Kian Larese, Michael Brandi, Liam Kelly, Rory McCormack, and Olivia Maxwell.  The kids all loved them, and they really dove into the camp, helping along the kids that needed some extra attention.  I hope to have them all back next year. Special thanks to CJ May, Liz McNicholl, Catie Kacenski, Meghan Lenihan and her dancers, Sandy Hanrahan and Catherine McMorrow.  They volunteered of their time to show our kids that there is so much more to Irish culture than the sport they love, and the kids got a great introduction to Irish Song, Dance, Drama, Folklore and Arts & Crafts.  Finally, thanks to all of the parent volunteers who gave of their time during the week to help make this a smooth-running success.  As a result of this camp, there are four new families joining our Youth Football Program!  The dates are set for next year – Cul Camp 2019 will take place from July 15th – 19th.   Mark your calendars!! John McCormack

Donation Thanks:

Many thanks to the following members who paid their dues and enclosed an additional donation to our club: Patrick Whelan, Ann & John Cullinan, Colleen Hines.

Thank you to the following club members for doing an awesome job keeping our flowers in prestige blooming condition over the summer: Mike and Anne Faherty, Pat Hosey, Martin Donoghue, The Brandi Children, Michael, Vinny, Caitlyn and Molly. Excellent job guys! Special thank you to Mike Gethings for his dedication on cutting the grass on our field. It’s a hard job with the heat we have had this summer and he does it without hesitation. Also, thank you very much to Donna Borzillo and Theresa O’Brien for always being so helpful and getting back so quickly with requests. Very much appreciated, Gerry Roddy
