Pride of New York

A star-studded concert featuring ‘The Pride of New York’ will be presented at the Irish American Community Center, 9 Venice Place, East Haven, on Saturday November 3rd at 7:30 PM

The concert will feature Joanie Madden, the renowned leader of the ‘Cherish the Ladies’ Band, on flute and tin whistle; Brian Conway senior All-Ireland champion on fiddle; Billy McComiskey winner of seven All-Ireland button accordion championships and Brendan Dolan one of the most sought-after keyboardists in traditional music today.

Combined, they are ‘The Pride of New York’ and are regarded as the best in Irish Traditional Music.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to hear these four phenomenal traditional musicians playing together.

Last year when they visited the Irish club for what has now become an annual affair, their performance brought down the house, the atmosphere was electric, the playing superb and the jokes hilarious.
