Katie Linnane – fiddle
Katie Linnane hails from Pearl River, NY, a hotbed of traditional music where a great crew of Irish-American teachers (including Katie‘s mother Kathy) have cultivated an amazingly talented crop of young instrumentalists. Katie, who plays the fiddle with effortless exuberance, is among the best of this golden generation. Having studied for seven years with fiddle great, Willie Kelly,Katie continues to cultivate her affinity for Clare music and the music of Paddy Canny in particular. Katie has immersed herself in New York’s thriving Irish community, enabling her to cultivate her talents and respect for the music.
Ivan Goff – uilleann pipes and flute
From Dublin, Ivan Goff is a member of traditional band Danú. He has performed worldwide in duets and ensembles with many household names of Irish music including Iarla Ó Lionáird, Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh, Martin Hayes, Eileen Ivers Band, Dervish and Lúnasa. Other musical credits range from appearances with the New York Philharmonic, to Riverdance, to Sting’s The Last Ship on Broadway.
Eamon O’Leary – guitar, bouzouki, vocals
Eamon is one of the finest accompanists in Irish traditional music today and is celebrated for his interpretation of Irish and American folk songs. He has performed with many of Irish music’s greats and his current projects include the acclaimed The Murphy Beds with guitarist and singer Jefferson Hamer, and The Alt (with John Doyle and Nuala Kennedy). His solo albums Old Clump and All Souls features his own songwriting while the well known Live at Mona’s album with Patrick Ourceau documents their many years hosting a Monday night session on New York’s Lower East Side.
